Muhammed Qaanith Kamal. President, Founder & Mentor VP - Purdue FIRST Programs, Indianapolis

Hi everyone! My name is Muhammed Qaanith Kamal, and I am the President and Founder of EIA Robotics. I am currently a sophomore at Purdue University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

My journey in the FIRST program has taken me through FLL, FTC, and FRC, and those experiences inspired me to start this team. My goal is to share the knowledge and skills I’ve gained and to inspire the next generation of students in my community to explore robotics and STEM.

📩 You can reach me at: president@eiarobotics.org

Noor Al Shifa Nazumudeen. Chief Executive Officer

I am a software engineer and MBA with over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. For the past seven years, I have been coaching students in FIRST Robotics, and it has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. I truly enjoy mentoring kids in my community—watching them learn, grow, and have fun while solving real-world problems.

Through our non-profit organization, my goal is to make a lasting impact by empowering young minds with STEM skills and inspiring them to pursue future careers in science and technology. At FIRST, we believe it’s “more than robots”—and so do we!

Safeeq Hajakamaludeen. Director

I am a Mechanical Engineer and one of the lead coaches of our team, with over 25 years of experience in the tech industry. My passion lies in CAD and robot design, and I enjoy coaching FIRST Robotics teams because of the unique challenges and problem-solving opportunities they bring.

What excites me most is the spirit of continuous learning—every day offers something new, making the program both rewarding and worth the investment of time and effort. Through this non-profit, I aim to share my experiences with the community by empowering kids with essential STEM skills and helping them build a strong foundation for successful future careers.
